Prescription glasses made to measure

Quality frames and lenses designed for your everyday life, starting with a free eye test.

Prescription glasses are a technical product, made to measure for each person: the prescription for your eyes, a frame that suits you and lenses designed for what you do every day.

First, your prescription

It all starts with a good eye test. In an hour we measure each eye separately, the distance between your pupils so that the lenses are properly centred and, if needed, the extra power for seeing up close. It’s free, by appointment.

If you already wear glasses, bring them with you: that way we can compare your current prescription with the new one and decide together whether you really need to change anything. We explain it all in Eye test.

The frame

We have a wide selection of quality frames. We’ll help you find one that suits you, feels comfortable and works with the lenses you need.

  • Prescription frames in several styles on an optician’s shelves
  • Six coloured frames on a tray to choose from
  • Close-up of the hinge on a tortoiseshell frame
  • Gold-rimmed glasses on an open book

The lenses

Tell us what you’ll use your glasses for: reading, driving, working at a computer or a bit of everything. We’ll explain the pros and cons of each option, and then we’ll choose together.

Varifocal glasses

When your near vision starts to fade and you also need glasses for distance, varifocals let you see clearly far away, at middle distance and up close, all with the same pair.

It’s best to talk it through in person: there are almost always more options than you’d imagine. And if you’d also like to see sharply in the sun, have a look at our prescription sunglasses.

On holiday and need a hand?

If your glasses have broken or you’ve left your contact lenses behind, drop in and we’ll help.
